Bryony Frost retained Double Green jockey in France

Bryony Frost has joined Simon Munir and Isaac Souede’s growing racing operation, primarily as their retained jockey in France.

The Double Green team has enjoyed great success in the country in recent years and has an expanded team in action there this season to accompany their Raffles breeding operation.

Former jockey Benoit Gicquel is their racing director in France and has been searching for a retained jockey for some time.

Frost’s decision to settle in France was the opportunity they had been waiting for and Munir said: “For a while we wanted to retain a jockey in France to strengthen the Double Green team, but we were waiting for the right opportunity. “Bryony’s decision to move to France not only presented us with that opportunity, but also meant we have appointed an experienced and talented jockey to the Double Green team.”

Frost added: “I have long admired the Double Green team and the success they have had in England, Ireland and France. “I am very excited to join them, the opportunity to be hired by them to ride horses is the dream start to my career in France.”
